What is iLok Cloud? It's a 'virtual iLok' that can be used with any licence type (trials, perpetual licenses, and subscriptions) provided that the host system has a continual internet connection. If you authorise your plug-ins this way, just launch CEDAR Studio 9.3 on a connected host system, a Cloud session will open, and you're ready to go!
All plug-in environments (AAX, VST and AU) are supported so, if you would like to upgrade, you can upgrade to CEDAR Studio 9.3 to take advantage of cloud-based authorisation. What's more, upgrading to CEDAR Studio 9.3 is free of charge for owners of CEDAR Studio 9.0 and 9.2. Just uninstall your existing version and then install the new one in the usual fashion. There are no visible differences to either the installer or the software, so you'll be ready to go as soon as installation is complete.
