We’re proud to announce that the CEDAR VoicEX voice extractor, the most advanced and effective dialogue noise reduction process yet developed, has been shortlisted for an Association of Motion Picture Sound (AMPS) Technical Award 2024.
This is the twelfth year of the AMPS Awards, and the Awards Event will take place on Sunday 7th April 2024 at The University of Greenwich, where the Association will be presenting two Technical Awards - one for technical excellence in production sound and the other for post.

VoicEX sets a new standard for real-time noise reduction. Indeed, it's close to being a magic button and yet it's so simple to use that novices and experts alike can achieve remarkable results with the minimum of fuss and effort. Where you might expect numerous controls, you'll find just two knobs - one to determine the loudness of the background, and the other to control the loudness of the speech. Reduce the former to make noise and excessive reverberation go away. Reduce the latter, and the voices go away. Increase either to emphasise that part of the signal.
