Software Engineer (Audio Systems Development)

We have a new role for a software engineer who will be instrumental in developing the user-interfaces and platform-specific wrappers for the company's professional audio software, including plug-ins in all of the industry-standard formats. The role will give the employee the opportunity to see products through their full lifecycle of development, implementation (including software protection), product release and maintenance. There will also be potential for the role to develop into other areas including software design and the coding of mathematical algorithms.

Essential skills

  • Cross platform development (Mac & PC)
  • More than three years' experience of C++ in a professional environment
  • Experience of STL
  • A good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • A good understanding of source control
  • Logical, structured problem-solving skills
  • The ability to contribute to design and architectural discussions

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of professional audio applications
  • Knowledge of software protection methods
  • Experience of UI development
  • Some mathematical ability
