CEDAR to host Association Of Motion Picture Sound (AMPS) evening

Gordon Reid and Clive Osborn of CEDAR Audio Ltd will be hosting an AMPS meeting at Shepperton Studios at 7:30pm on 3rd December 2009.

As part of their presentations, they will be showing the latest advances in dialogue noise suppression and audio restoration for post production. They will demonstrate the CEDAR DNS3000, the successor to the Academy Award® winning DNS1000 dialogue noise suppressor, which is used in post, for live studio broadcast, for sporting events and on location to reduce or even eliminate general background noise. They will also show the full CEDAR Cambridge system, which can eliminate a wider range of problems and hosts Retouch™, which is used to remove individual sounds and noises from audio recordings ranging from raw location sound to mixed soundtracks.
