A CEDAR for Windows System™ has been installed at ARTEAR (Argentinean RadioTelevision) in Buenos Aires.

A three-board CEDAR for Windows system including declick, decrackle, and NR-3 Noise Reduction modules, this will be used to restore a wide range of media including 78s, vinyl, optical soundtracks from vintage movies and TV series, and more recent recordings that suffer from audio degradations.

This is the first CEDAR for Windows system to be installed in Argentina, and was specified by Martin Sznaider, ARTEAR's senior sound engineer, and supplied by CEDAR's Argentinean dealer, Alfredo Abad of DBA Systems in Buenos Aires. ARTEAR broadcast seven TV channels within Argentina. DBA Systems also supply products to Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia, and are in the process of opening further offices to serve the Latin-American broadcast and pro-audio markets.
