CEDAR Cambridge V7 has been nominated for a TEC Award in 2011

TEC Awards 2008

16 October 2011

CEDAR Audio is delighted to announce that CEDAR Cambridge V7 has been nominated for a TEC Award in the category Signal Processing Technology/Hardware.

This is not the first time that CEDAR Cambridge has been recognised by the TEC Foundation. The system was nominated upon its release in 2003, and in 2008 the CEDAR System - evolving from the original DOS-based products through CEDAR for Windows to CEDAR Cambridge - was inducted into the Audio TECnology Hall Of Fame.

"We are of course delighted that CEDAR Cambridge V7 has been nominated," says CEDAR's Managing Director, Gordon Reid, "and would like to thank the foundation and the nominating committee for recognising our work in this field."

The TEC Awards were established in 1985 to honour outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product innovation. Nominations are made by a panel of approximately 200 audio industry veterans working in a variety of fields, and winners are determined by members of professional audio and sound production organisations. Voting will take place between 1 - 30 November 2011 and the awards ceremony will be held on 20 January 2012 at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, USA.
